Our History

A Saskatchewan Tradition Since 1947

Brown's Leisure World has deep roots in Saskatchewan. Our story began in 1947 in Yorkton, when the Brown family opened the doors to a small family business. What started as a local dealership would grow and evolve over the decades, becoming a familiar name to generations of Saskatchewan families.

As the years passed, so did the products we offered. Brown's grew from its early days selling farm equipment and lawn mowers into the world of outdoor recreation, eventually becoming known for snowmobiles, ATVs, side-by-sides, RVs, trailers, parts and service.

Through all of those changes, one thing remained the same: Brown's was a family business built on relationships. Customers became friends, generations came through the doors together, and the knowledge and experience of one generation was passed on to the next.

Over the years, Brown's became particularly well known for its involvement with Arctic Cat and the powersports community. Our parts and service departments became an important part of the business, helping riders keep their machines running and their adventures going.

Today, Brown's Leisure World carries forward that same spirit of family, service and Saskatchewan adventure. The products may have changed since 1947, but our commitment to our customers has remained remarkably consistent.

Nearly eight decades. Generations of customers. One Saskatchewan family tradition.

That's the story of Brown's Leisure World.

The Yorkton store

For most of its life the business traded from Highway #10 East in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, and served Arctic Cat owners well beyond the province — the parts counter shipped across Canada and around the world.

About this archive

Brown's is no longer an authorized dealership, and this site is not a store: there is no ordering, no pricing enquiry and no inventory behind it. What remains is the parts fiche itself — more than 94,000 assembly diagrams and 195,000 part listings covering decades of Arctic Cat snowmobiles, ATVs, watercraft and generators, kept online as a free reference for the riders and wrenches who still need it.
